“The determination to be educated is something no one can take away from you if you are committed to success and eager to learn.” – Isaac E. Rebecca.
These words guided the Maranatha Helping Hands Foundation as schools in Kogi West resumed for the third term. The foundation prioritized getting students back to school as early as possible, which also influenced their distribution of writing materials. Yeye Omoleye Adebanji Aiyelabowo, known as Yeye Oge of Okunland, emphasized the importance of supporting the government, highlighting that education in Kogi State is now free from primary to secondary school. She called for collaboration with various organizations to ensure children receive a proper education.
During the distribution of writing materials to students and teachers, Yeye Oge expressed her gratitude for the support from Maranatha Helping Hands Foundation, which has brought smiles to those in public schools within the Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu federal constituency. She reminded everyone that education is vital for community development and that the foundation is dedicated to providing students with the tools they need to succeed.
Principals and headteachers from the visited schools were thankful for the generous gesture towards students and teachers, which would aid them in preparing lesson notes. They organized prayer sessions to express their gratitude to Mrs. Amazing Grace Bukola Okon, CEO of Maranatha Helping Hands Foundation, and Yeye Oge for their proactive efforts at the start of the school term.
